Anton Van Spaendonck mainly practises in the field of medical and health law.
CredentialsIn 2021, Anton won the five-yearly Limburgs Rechtsleven prize for his article “Privacyrecht en ondernemingen: een nieuwe realiteit” (Data protection law and businesses: a new reality).
Anton has also published a piece on international jurisdiction in corporate disputes.
He lectures on specialist topics in the realm of data protection.
EducationAnton Van Spaendonck studied law at Hasselt University and graduated with an inter-university master’s in Corporate Law from Hasselt University, KU Leuven and Maastricht University.
Anton set out in practice in 2019 as a legal counsel in the pharmaceutical sector at the Leuven offices of Medpace, a US clinical research organisation.
In 2020, he switched to chamber practice as an attorney, embarking on his traineeship at a firm in Hasselt where he specialised in company, commercial and data protection law.
Since 2022, Anton has been a member of Arcas Law’s Healthcare, Pharma & Life Sciences practice group.
