Julie has been with the Antwerp Province Bar since 2019. She began her career with an internship at a leading law firm specialised in administrative law. Focusing on administrative law, she handles cases involving inter alia the awarding and conduct of public contracts and environmental law.
EducationJulie graduated in 2019 with a Master of Law degree from KU Leuven, with specialisations in private and criminal law. She also gained a master’s degree in healthcare management and policy and attended Summer Sessions at the University of California, Berkeley.
In 2021, she successfully completed the SUPRALAT training course on providing assistance to suspects during interrogation. Julie also holds a certificate in Special Training in Criminal Cassation Proceedings (2022), a qualification required to hear criminal cases before the Court of Cassation.
