We assist clients from various sectors in competition law matters and related actions.
These include summary proceedings seeking urgent interim measures, proceedings before the judge who is authorized to order injunctions, and actions based on abuse of dominant position, on refusal to sell, and on breach of the rules imposed by regulating authorities, as well as actions for damages for competition law infringements.
Some examples of our work in competition law / antitrust matters include:
- representing a telecom company in summary proceedings seeking urgent interim measures, cease-and-desist proceedings, and proceedings on the merits against wholesale customers and against competitors relating to the abuse of dominant position and refusal to sell;
- assisting a paint and coatings manufacturer in an action against them seeking specific performance (i.e., continuous deliveries of goods and services) on grounds of an alleged abuse of dominant position following the termination of a longstanding contractual relationship;
- defending a national railway company in arbitration against various post-acquisition claims after the sale of its subsidiary, which is an international freight forwarders and logistics services provider, to a private company, following alleged cartel infringements.
